Once mature, Royal Velours produces thousands of small,
very dark red flowers over a long bloom season. Lots
and lots of color for a long time! The color dark shows
best against a light colored background.

Plant it alongside a lighter, larger flowered clematis for a great display.
Pink Fantasy or Sarah Elizabeth would both be great choices.
