that fade to mid blue as they age.
These blooms are spectacular against
the dark foliage of a shrub like 'Wine and Roses' weigela
or paired with Rooguchi's dark purple bells.
Introduced in the U.K. in 1874, this vintage clematis has proved
durable and disease resistant as well as beautiful.
